Hull–Rotterdam is a comfortable overnight ferry with a standard cabin included in the fare, 6 dog cabins per ship and kennels in three sizes; on Dover–Calais the Pet Lounge at £12 is one of the best dog facilities on the Channel.

The strictest gas rule on the Irish Sea with 3 bottles of 11.2 kg, no published size or fare bands for motorhomes, no statement on LPG and no motorhome package.

- North Sea and Channel routes: a maximum of 47 kg of gas per vehicle excluding the weight of the bottle, with no limit on the number of bottles. The Irish Sea routes are strict by contrast: a maximum of 3 bottles of no more than 11.2 kg each, ±33.6 kg in total. Loose fuel containers are banned.
