15 marked tarmac places, strictly for motorhomes, ±800 metres from the station and the town centre. Electricity at most but not all places, a drinking-water connection whenever it is frost-free, cassette disposal on site, but NO grey water disposal and no shower or toilet. Waste collection included. No staffed reception. Open all year, though there is no snow clearing in winter.
LPG is all but unavailable in Norway; take enough gas with you.
Straight after the terminal you join the E18 towards Oslo or Kristiansand. Norwegian toll rings: number-plate recognition with no barriers, invoiced afterwards through EPC if you have no AutoPASS-brikke; registering at autopass.no saves money and hassle. Motorhomes over 3,500 kg fall into the more expensive tariff group 2.
Larvik is well placed for the southern Norwegian coast (Telemark, Vestfold) without going through Oslo first. The bobilhavn is on the promenade, so you are right in the town centre.
Border, documents & rules
The same Norwegian import quotas as on Hirtshals-Kristiansand: 6,000 NOK duty-free for stays longer than 24 hrs (3,000 NOK for shorter stays, with no alcohol or tobacco), alcohol according to one chosen combination such as 3 l of wine plus 2 l of beer, and 10 kilos of meat and cheese together at most. Customs checks on arrival are a real prospect, motorhomes included. Use Tolletaten's Kvote app.
Motorhome tips
Larvik is 130 km south of Oslo; combine with AutoPASS/Epass24 toll registration before arrival
